Funded Projects

Look what we can do together.

Every year, the CNA reinvests neighborhood funds into projects, activities, and ideas that make Coronado a better place to live.

Here's a look at what we're supporting and what our neighbors have accomplished.

    Neighbor Grants  |  $295 Awarded  |  October 2026

One person's trash is another neighbor's treasure!

The annual Coronado Yard Sale brought neighbors together for a day of bargain hunting, treasure finding, and community connection, with more than 50 participating stops throughout the neighborhood!

Thanks to a $295 contribution from the CNA's Neighbor Grants program, organizer Kayla Tarantino was able to create yard sale signs for participating neighbors, making their sales easier to spot and helping shoppers find their way around Coronado.

    As Kayla shared:

"The Coronado Yard Sale had over 50 stops this year and was such a fun day!"

It's a great example of how a little neighborhood funding can go a long way toward bringing people together, supporting reuse, and making Coronado an even more connected community.

    Neighbor Grants  |  $1,000 Awarded  |  Caring Coalition AZ  |  September 2026

Sometimes, making a difference starts with something as simple as putting food on the table.

Through the CNA's Neighbor Grants program, Caring Coalition AZ received $1,000 to help provide food to families experiencing food insecurity. The funding covered a month of food deliveries for 35 families across Phoenix (including some right in Coronado!), with $200 remaining to support deliveries the following month.

One recipient, Denise, shared just how meaningful that support has been:

"I'm so lucky to get this help. I want to say thank you all for making this possible for families like mine that really need it."

This is exactly what the CNA Giving Program is all about: putting neighborhood dollars to work and helping our community care for one another.
